ProceduresGeneral Information We are a semi-glitz pageant system. There are never attire scores. Any dress is welcome as long as it is age-appropriate. No flippers, spray tans, eyelashes or fake nails allowed. Hair Pieces / Extensions and age-appropriate make-up are allowed. OOC: Always have fun and be creative! Props and Routines are welcome but not mandatory. Please keep routines at 90-second maximum. Outfit must match the theme of the pageant. It can be custom made or off the rack. Please see registration forms and expectations for Photogenic and Portfolio Guidelines. Photogenic: Bring one NATURAL HEADSHOT photo 5x7 or 8x10, in a sheet protector. Write Name and Age on back of picture. Light Make-Up is allowed, but keep it age appropriate. Bring the day of the pageant. Portfolio: Bring 7-10 NATURAL photos 5x7 or 8x10, in a binder or folder with sheet protectors. Can be headshot or full body. Requires Cover Sheet with Name, Age and any additional info. Light Make-Up is allowed, but keep it age appropriate. Bring the day of the pageant. General Rules No contestant or parent may attempt to communicate with the judges before or during the pageant. Any attempt to do so will result in immediate disqualification of the contestant. We expect all participants and guests to conduct themselves in keeping with the usual and customary standards of good sportsmanship. Any behavior that seems to be disruptive or unsportsman-ship before, during or after the pageant, or entering false information will result in disqualification of contestant, no refunds. Scoring A 1-10Pt Scoring System is used by judges of all Glitzy Girls of Texas Pageants. All decisions of the judges are final. There is no procedure for protesting their decisions. Scores of the judges will be available for pick up after each pageant. No information about judges is given out. Printable Pageant |
